Title: all weather turfs
Are you tired of getting muddy at break times? Are you tired of slipping over and getting hurt? Are you tired of twisting your ankles on uneven ground? Did you know that turf will solve all your problems. If you think grass is better than turf stay tuned and listen closely to this speech and I will convince you to change your mind.
Let me first explain about what it is. All weather turf is a fake grass that doesn't get muddy and drains the rain away. Both Bay Olympic and Western Springs use all weather turf and there grounds are open all year around and are never closed even if it has been raining all week.
My first reason why we should have all weather turf at school is because it would make playing sports such as soccer, hockey, rugby more enjoyable. The surface is even and this makes the ball travel where you want it to go, instead of bouncing off lumps and bumps in the ground.
My second reason is we can use the all weather turf field for the whole year, not matter if its summer or winter because it drains the rain away. Then there will not be any muddy kids, muddy carpets and muddy fields. This will make teachers and parents very happy.
My third reason is the kids won't slip all over the place and then it will be even safer to play on our field. Rachel in the office won't have to spend all breaks times looking after injured students from the field.
My Fourth and final reason is the school does not have to waste money for the lawn mowing and other maintenance. Peter the caretaker could spend time doing other things instead.
